FAQ - Specialist Referrals

Most of our veterinary work is done within the Veterinary Hospital but occasionally our vets may recommend that you go to see a Specialist.

In South Australia we have an excellent referral centre in Norwood where there are Veterinary Specialists in the fields of Ophthalmology ( Dr Tony Read) Dermatology ( Dr Andrew Carter ), Soft Tissue Surgery (Dr Penny Tisdall) and Medicine ( Dr David Davies). With the more unusual cases, or those that we are unable to resolve, we may recommend that you see one of these specialists.

They only consult by referral from a veterinary surgeon. They will then report back to us on their findings and how we can together help your pet.
