Veterinary dentistry is one of the fastest growing area of veterinary medicine. Pet's teeth need the same care as ours do in order to stay healthy. As pets are living longer we want their teeth to as well. We recommend yearly dental checks either during our “dental month” in August or at your pets yearly visit. From these checks we can determine what treatment is required and when.

For preventative dental health we recommend:

  • Healthy Chews — Greenies, denta-bones, etc
  • Raw Bones — always choose appropriately sized bones and keep your animal supervised when they chew.
  • Medicated foods — Hills T/d diet fed every day is one of the most successful ways to prevent dental disease.
  • Daily Brushing — Nothing will be more effective
